Going to California with an aching in my heart...

It's hard to believe that this part of the adventure is coming to a close.

This year, I've had the incredible good fortune to travel to Italy, Mexico, Jordan, Egypt, Israel/Palestine, Turkey, Spain, Morocco, and France, and now I'm going home. It's been almost six months, and I've fit more life in them than I thought possible. I'm now sitting at my desk in my freezing bedroom in Granada for the last time, and it's hard to realize the finality of the moment.

I have lots of traveling, tears, and hellos ahead of me. Let me get home and rest a bit, and I promise I'll share the stories.
