Two things that sum up my time in Playas almost more than anything else:


Dulces - mango, pineapple, and tamarind with chili


Tamale, Mexico City style (on french bread) and champurrado

Deep-fried, corn tortilla quesdilla

Gordita with cheese and beans

Enchiladas de mole

Vegetarian pozole

Quesadilla de huitlacoche, with nopales

Huaraches de flor de calabasa

Molletes - french bread with beans, cheese, and tomatoes
