I have been so ridiculously busy this past week... and will be next week as well. I just got back from the Amnesty conference, am absurdly tired, and only have a few moments before I start my Jemez hosting experience (I'm hosting a high school student from the Jemez reservation in New Mexico until Thursday, also meaning I will not be sleeping) but I thought I'd recap my jam-packed last few days:
November:
5. Arabic, linguistics, immigration panel, sociology of migration, Jemez basketball game, 4Boston retreat until midnight
6. Left campus at 7:00 AM (and saw part of the sunrise!), went to a training in Somerville, loitered in a scuba-diving shop, loitered in Dunkin Donuts (and consumed something there for the first time), met my 4Boston group in the South End, finished retreat with them, and then baby-sat until midnight
7. Went to Harvard Square (that was relaxing.)
8. Arabic, linguistics, yoga, sociology of migration, Challenge of Justice, Elie Wiesel that night! (HE WAS WONDERFUL.)
9. ESL lesson with Pansy, honors, lunch, ACEDONE, AIDS Awareness Committee meeting, PSP internship meeting/"networking"
10. Arabic, library, Arabic, yoga, sociology of migration, Call + Response screening that night
11. Tea party, honors, lunch, wasting time, Sufjan Stevens (AMAZING.)
12. Arabic, linguistics, yoga, sociology of migration, grocery store, laundry, SHLUMBER PARTY
13. Didn't sleep at all, Amnesty International Northeast regional conference, writing this blog post, meeting my Jemez student later!
I AM SO TIRED.
